A Sentimental Stunt

I went to pick up the keyboard on the outskirts of town. S. led me into the apartment where her son had already set up the keyboard so I could try it out. He asked me if I was a musician, and what I was going to do with this old keyboard. I briefly went through the presets, played a few notes, paid the agreed €40 and took the train home. There I set up the Technics SX-K350 keyboard exactly as Leonard Cohen had set it up 31 years ago in the Tower of Song :
